Jason Curry is Pastor to Students and Young Adults at The Church at Rock Creek in Little Rock, Arkansas. During his time at Rock Creek, Jason has seen the student ministry grow to over 200 students and 30 life group leaders actively involved on a weekly basis. “Relationships are everything,” Jason says. “We must engage students, penetrate their culture, and earn the right to be heard. That is not easy...but then again...making disciples has always been costly!”

During his second year at Rock Creek, Jason began a ministry geared toward young adults, ages 18-25. It is called H2o. H2o is celebrating its one-year anniversary in June and has grown to involve over 50 young adults. Jason is a frequent speaker at school assemblies, chapels, weekend retreats, camps, athletic team events, and parent conferences. His sermon, “Finish Empty,” was adopted by Mark Gottfried, Head Coach of The University of Alabama basketball team, and used as a team motto during their run to the Sweet Sixteen. He is the author of, “The Feast: A forty day journey with God,” and is set to release “Seize the Moment: Parenting every day events into life changing lessons,” in January 2008.

Jason grew up in Conway, Arkansas. After he graduated from high school, Jason began working at Kanakuk Kamps in Branson, Missouri. He attended Mississippi College where he played four years of college baseball and graduated with a degree in Communications. During his first year of college, Jason began a two-year commitment as a volunteer for K-Life ministries, an extension of Kanakuk. He then served as an intern at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. and later joined the staff at First Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Jason is an avid football fan and loves the outdoors--especially deer hunting.

Jason married his high school sweetheart, Courtney, in 2003. They have two daughters, Carson & Cameron.
